Welcome to HP Well Screen your partner in screen solutions for filtration. We are Europe’s largest privately and family owned manufacturer and specialist of Wedge Wire and Metal Mesh Screen Filtration products.
We offer a wide range of Sand and Inflow control equipment like Sand Filters, Perforated or Slotted Liners, Inflow Control Devices, Swellable Packers, Dissolvable Plugs, High Temperature products and more. Offering customized screen solutions for applications in the Oil & Gas, Geothermal and Filtration industry with the goal in finding the most ideal solution for your challenge.
We are helping out to lower the carbon footprint by means of local production, sustainable products, smart solutions and prevention instead of contraception.
Who we are
Started as Houston Well Screen, we became an independent organization since (1991), respected by our customers in various markets around the globe.
Since 2012 we have started Well Slot, Abu Dhabi, to serve our customers locally in MEA to meet shorter delivery times, create local employment and keep the carbon footprint low.
We have a strong position given the in house custom build machinery for slotting and perforation and knowledge gained over the years to build a solid and sustainable filtration product, we prefer quality over quantity.

Houston Well Screen starts manufacturing in The Netherlands and Hans Politiek, being a highly skilled machine builder, becomes the operations manager.
Houston Well Screen leaves The Netherlands and Hans Politiek starts his privately owned company, H.P. Well Screen, to proceed with the operations and moves into premises with office and workspace on the Weusteweg 6, Wierden.
H.P. Well Screen builds her improved 88 spindle Drilling machines. Sophistically designed on a flight back from Latin America drawn on a sickness bag.
H.P. Well Screen enlarges operations and moves into new premises on the Nijverheidsstraat 14, Wierden.
H.P. Well Screen builds her first 88 spindle Slotting machine.
H.P. Well Screen enlarges operations and extends into adjacent premises on the Nijverheidsstraat 15, for filter plate storage and treatment. Being able to serve local clients without delays.
H.P. Well Screen enlarges operations and extends into adjacent premises on the Nijverheidsstraat 12.
3 new 88 Spindle Slotting machines are specifically built to meet the deadline of a large slotting project been awarded.
Well Slot Abu Dhabi is founded with our partner ADOS Engineering to start local operation in de MEA.
H.P. Well Screen enlarges operations and extends into adjacent premises on the Nijverheidsstraat 10.
Well Slot new premises are opened for larger production possibilities and better serve our MEA customer base locally.
